About the Test:
Vitamin: B12, Vitamin D and Vitamin B9(Folate)
Vitamins are essential nutrients that your body and Brain needs to function.
Low levels of Vitamin B12 may be caused by any underlying medical conditions (such as pernicious anaemia or an overactive thyroid). Whereas high levels of vitamin B12 may be a result of certain forms of leukaemia, diabetes, kidney, or liver-associated problems.
The low levels of vitamin D affects Male and Female fertility, low density of the Bones, Fatigue and Tiredness.
Vitamin B9 deficiency can cause congenital abnormalities, including megaloblastic anaemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia.
This test helps to ensure that the levels of vitamins lies within the normal range and free of risk from other associated disorders.
