The collected urine will undergo lateral flow test to check the presence of FSH in urine to aid in the detection of menopause. The anti-FSH antibodies are coated with the test region of the membrane which specifically identify the elevated levels of FSH. The tests are interpreted as positive when visible line observed in the T(test) region and control line indicating high levels of FSH and no visible line on test region and presence on control indicating normal levels of FSH.
Note: If you want to perform the test at our clinical site in Slough then the process will be followed by our clinician for you at no additional cost
